I'm actually on vacation traveling right now and don't have the time or steady internet access for regular updates, but I can assure you I'm still working on it. As for an update, if not by the end of January then I'm aiming for early February when I return from vacation.

You did a great job with the translation of the prologue! I am already looking forward to the next chapters^^ Sadly, Scepter 4 gets much less backstory than HOMRA (no "memory of blue" as far as I know)....
Say, are there any downloadable scanlations of the "Side: Blue" light novel, so I can read ahead a bit?

Unfortunately, there's no scans that I know of - I'm working off my own hard copy. I really recommend investing in the book if you can read Japanese! But I promise the next part should be up by Sunday evening at the latest :)

It would be too much of a hassle for me to get one myself, sadly. Wish I could travel to japan in the near future.
Oh, and I certainly didn't want to push you by asking for scans. Translating a whole book certainly is no easy task, and I really appreciate your effort.

And yes, Scepter 4 certainly deserves more love than it currently gets. I honestly don't understand what's so appealing about HOMRA, yet there are so many red fanboys/girls. Well, to each his own, I guess.

I dont mean in a rude way but will you probably work on the rest of the unfinished translation novels? don't get me wrong I know hoe much of effort you had to put in work just to translate these light novels which clearly been an advantage for those who can't purchase the original copies. as a fan of k project I certainly feel the need or you can say rush to read all of the volumes before rest assured. anyway, thank you for your splendid translation and hard work! sankyuu!

I know that you are busy but please update. It's been almost 9 months. From what people have told me this chapter will link to the second season as the attempted assassination of the blue king is connected to jungle who will be trying something similar in the second season.all the hope and sadness of the next chapter I cannot wait. PLEASE PLEASE UPDATE SOON. His death was already mentioned in the Manga but it was a little confusing without this part :(
